Meet the Characters
Johnnie is an actor who has appeared both on stage and in film. His involvement in theatre extends to having served on a theatre board of directors and directing community shows. Along with his early discovery and love of theatre, Johnnie fell upon Dungeons & Dragons at an early age and has been an active gamer ever since. From writing a Live Action RPG to Game Mastering, Johnnie enjoys the creative outlet and escapism of being at the table. He and his wife activly host a monthly game night for their family and friends.
Septimus
DARK ELF
Septimus, eldest child of the Kritaniel family, brother to twins Athanasius and Athanasia, and heir to the duties and obligations of his family honoring the god of death, Kritanta, has forsaken the way of his family in search of a cure for his younger sister who has mysteriously fallen ill.
After seeking answers in the Great Library of Siddu for a time he has now ventured forth to the great city of Nyovo on the continent of Aratmil, half a world away from everything that he has known, to find the hidden knowledge that could save his sister from her deadly fate.

Anthansius
DARK ELF
Athanasius was born touched by the Shadow and his twin sister touched by the Light. The twins were both born with innate magic earning their parents pride much to the chagrin of their eldest brother Septimus. Heavy expectations were placed on the twins from a young age. While Athanasia always worked her hardest to live up to them, Athanasius was always rebellious. While he showed he had just as much talent as his sister, in school he rebuked the authority of his teachers earning him a bad reputation. Just recently their sister Athanasia mysteriously fell into a deep magical sleep. A kalishtar prophet said it is connected to the growing evil influence in the world and instructed Septimus and Athanasius “to go North and find your destiny or your sister will remain in this deathless sleep”

Doodler
BEASTFOLK
Doodler grew up on a farm outside of Nyovo a city that provides a majority of the crop to the world. He lived there happily with his two fathers and five older siblings until Monsters attacked and destroyed his home; uprooted the only life he'd known. After the fall of his farm, Doodler became very depressed and he began praying to the Goddess Nyssa to gain back the hope he had previously lost and soon gained magical powers from her. Doodler then met Buster, a strange Beastfolk in need of a guide through Nyovo. As they journeyed together, they realized that they made a great team and spent much of their time together helping the surrounding farms from the monsters that had plagued Doodler's home previously. Thanks to Buster and the help they have given to people Doodler has recently been reinvigorated with a new hope that things can get better and that maybe someday he can find the answers to the questions he seeks.

Brad
Kobold
Bradley Turk is just a young kobold woman doing her best with what she has, but what she has is a temper, mild communication issues, and a waste-not want-not mentality that get her in trouble more often than not. Between failing to hold down a job and being evicted - again, she is just trying to do what she must to make ends meet. There is hope though, as her most recent employer didn't fire her, but had to let her go because of unforeseen circumstances. As a reward for her hard work in aiding The Frozenhearth Farm in its time of dire need, Mr. and Mrs. Cloudveil paid off her debts and gave her enough money to outfit herself for a new career as an exterminator!

Buster
BEASTFOLK
Buster is a young adult Beastfolk of the goat variety, meaning he has the horns and legs of a goat, and an appetite to match!
He came to Nyovo a little over a year ago on his Sacred Clown Pilgrimage, also known as a Clowngrimage. Being a Clown, his life long goal is to bring hope and joy to all peoples. When Buster arrived in Nyovo he made a friend in Doodler. Doodler helped Buster find places to do his clowning, and later helped Buster in his part-time hero work, saving the poor farmers and leading monsters away from them when they get too close. Buster’s main clown specialization is in being a Rodeo Clown, so he performs with both animals and the monsters from the farm lands, while Doodler acts in the background, ensuring all things lead to success.

Tempest
STORM GENASI
Tempest was born the youngest son of a successful bookseller in the City of Criabe. He was not accepting of his families plans of him helping his older brother run the family business and struck out on his own with his families reluctant blessings. He moved to the city of Penitica to find a place in the world for himself. Due to his, unfortunate, new found love of gambling, his debtors snatched him from the streets and held him for punishment. While he was in his desperate situation a voice whispered in his head that he could help Tempest escape if only he accepted a pact. The voice offered powers and abilities to ensure that Tempest wouldn't be so easily trapped again. Tempest accepted this pact. Tempest woke up outside of the building carrying nothing but a ring and a curiosity about how he ended up free.
